Ask for the email of a current teacher, or two. Employers may often have teacher’s testimonies on their website, but take those with a grain of salt. No employer would ever put a bad review up. If you email a teacher, they’re more likely to open up and tell you about the school. Keep in mind that this is not always true. Many a teacher has had to email a perspective teacher with their boss standing behind them and reading every word they write. Realise that there will be good things and bad things about your new job. Most of the time, the good outweighs the bad.
